Ah. Yeah, that shit's burning. At night, if they've been on long enough, you can see that **** smoke.

Im kinda freaked out by it, TBH. If I find myself with nothing to do, I may just pull that ish off and say **** it.

And no, when the lens were clean/clear, the glass wasnt burning. It was hot, but that's expected, right?

The one just has a tiny rock chip in it and it gets condensation in it and the Lamin-X kinda keeps that to a minimum.

Couldn't you either get a less Wattage bulb and/or somehow make the ballast sit father away to minimize burning? Those fogs seem like a hassle.

They're running the bulb that came with them, lol. I'll double check but Im pretty sure it's a 35w bulb. If it's not, I'll try changing one that is.

Other than the burning of the Lamin-X and the rock chip, they've been great. My lowbeam HIDs are what've been hassling me. Fuckin DDM...

Re: Mikey's 2001 Accord Coupe EX

Edited OP with up-to-date pics. Makes it harder to edit but oh well.

Im gonna see about putting the blackhouses back on and seeing how they look with the fogs. Also gonna remove the yellow Lamin-X from the fogs and then play with my HIDs a bit and see if I cant get them figured out.

I think Im going to abandon the heated mirror idea. I dont have the motivation, time or money to play with it right now. Plus, I need the money, so selling those mirrors will help.

Derek, just for sh'grins, snag a pic of the plugs of those mirrors. Im curious what they look like and if they'd fit my setup.

As for the violin....lol, play all you want. I need money and it's time to clear up revenue and get back to the basics. Im saving money for stuff other than my car. The only thing(s) Ill think about buying will be suspension and HIDs for the fogs. Id like to play with that switchblade key idea a bit but that's gonna cost me at least $100, so Ill mess with that later.

There's no reason a suspension, installed, should cost me more than $1000. I can do that.

I ain't knockin' your hustle, Brother.

I have had to make some sacrifics as well, by choice, and by circumstance.

I have spent a few hundred $$ on the wife's car because of unforseen repairs that needed to be done, which would have helped me get parts for mine alot quicker, but what can you do.

So, the fact that you need to prepare for some more important things, only makes sense that the needs take priority over the wants. The wants list always seems to be so much longer though, no!
