^Hate when debris gets shot at the car...sucks.

As for the eyelids, I have a couple pairs myself, but the extended version ones.

Not sure if I want to rock the CF ones or get the regular ones painted and mounted.

Seriously considering keeping my next set of OEM headlights clear or colour-matched, so not sure wich look would be best for the eyelids.

The blackhoused headlights need a buffing BAD. I'll try and get that done tonight or this week.

Im picking up a fender liner and some clips tonight. Only gonna cost me about $50. :\ A new bumper is gonna be around $200 but I think the liner and some new clips should do her just fine. I may or may not go all jdmfanboi and do the criss-cross ziptie trick for the crack in the cover. :lawl: Probably just a couple straights to keep it in one piece.

As for what I hit, Im almost certain it was a "gator". Like a piece of a blown semi-tire. Im pissed at the dickface that threw it at me.

I was cruising in the left lane, like I do, and he was in the right; no one in front of him. I could see he was on his phone and I attributed that to his switching lanes. Well, he did it quick enough that I had to brake and get off Cruise Control. About 30 seconds later, I see him run over the thing and it happened so fast that I didnt have enough time to swerve or avoid it. I figured it did some damage but wasnt sure how much. A moment later, I smelled burning rubber and thought I blew a tire. Pulled over and looked and it was just the liner rubbing my tire. I cut most of the front of the liner off and secured the bumper as best as I could. Down there, the bumper doest really "connect" to anything other than the liners and splashguards so, I think a new liner and a few new clips should fix her right up.

Still pissed though. :bash::explode:

iknorite!?!

He was in a little extended-cab ranger or mazda or something. Fuckstick.

If I hadnt needed to pull over I would've chased him down and ran him off the road. :lawl:

Here's the bumper's damage...

That sucks man. In my auto body class in high school, he was able to patch things like that for people who couldn't afford the whole bumper. He used some sort of panel bond epoxy on the inside of the bumper, and put body filler on the outside and repainted it. May be an alternative if you can't afford the new one.
