Ok so I'm gonna be installing the coilovers today and with the upcoming snow that'll hit eventually I've decided to take some steps to protect them. Hopefully this works
First gonna use this

on this

put this back over the threads

and wrap in this
d20bc093a4ed323ab46950ca6c2f0b0c.jpg
then once installed spray everything down with this

Looks like a good time. :lawl:

So what's the plan here exactly? Sorry if I missed that somewhere.

With all the snow, salt and other crap that comes with driving in the winter I'm trying to do what I can to keep them from rustingand locking up and not being able to adjust them in the spring

Well ran into a lil issue last night like always lol. Got the front struts out pretty easy but the dang ball joint was a pia and wouldn't come out no matter how hard I smacked it with the hammer so I'm gonna stop at the auto parts store and rent a ball joint puller to get it out.

Also while taking out the strut I noticed this when inspecting everything

So I went ahead and ordered some moog links

while that works to an extent, nothing compares to covering them. i diy'd my own set of covers back when i had my accord, but that company, ISC, makes their own covers now and they're great. i'd definitely recommend them not just for winter, but all year.

don't forget to update your first post with a mod list once you get started  you can also use the edit button so you don't have to make posts minutes after each other.

Ok well haven't posted in awhile so here's a quick update. So there was a whirring sound coming from the front right wheel my buddy said the uca' sneezed to be replaced so I replaced those and said it might solve it. But it didn't lol and prob is the bearing like we suspected so that still needs to be replaced. Also tried replacing the front end links since the one literally snapped off but my limited skills was unable to do so so waiting to take to my friend to replace for me. Evened out the coils. The back is about 1/2 inch higher than the front but other than that it's all good. The d2 coils are really comfortable all things considered so I'm happy with the purchase. Not much else going on. Wanna buy new fenders and smooth out the body prior to dipping it and prob gonna upgrade the stereo lil by lil and get 20% tint all around as I do with all my cars. I'll keep you guys updated as I can but here's a few random pics below. As always any suggestions are welcome
