Well have you tried searching around google? I sometimes use information from v6performance.net, maybe they have discussed your issue with the front lip before.

cool write up...i modded a type r replica for the 01-02 sedan onto my 01-02 coupe front since they didnt make it for the coupe. I used the same steps but with a dremel which requires you to file off the melted plastic after you cut. heres the result...

you may notice the small gaps on each side but i fixed that with some 3M tape

For those of you who are looking for a lip for the 01-02 sedan here is where i got mines when i used to own one (ebay): http://tinyurl.com/ygh5l6n or type in 01 accord 4dr front lip on ebay.

It was a really tight fit so be careful not to crack the end when installing and you'll have to make small cuts to the grill so the center of the lip area could slide all the way in.
