Hey guys

I got this camera Rockville RMC2 when I purchased a Kenwood 6990 (it was only $15 more so what the hell).

Anyways, Im having a helluva time trying to figure out how to mount it. Im all good with the wiring but not sure how I should actually attach it to the trunk... I found only this DIY but Im not confident I can tackle hacking up the license plate light cover and making sure its waterproof

Anyone else with a 6th gen Sedan mount a similar camera?

Thanks

It doesn't have to be perfectly centered. So just mount it next to the license plate light. This will require drilling 2 holes for bolts/screws and 1 hole for the cable (which has to be pretty big to fit the RCA connectors; then get an rubber grommet to protect the cable, then fill the hole with silicon, this will make it waterproof.

Also, you might need to build a spacer or angled spacer to make sure the camera lens is where it should be.
