My 2001 Accord was at the pump and I figured I would check it.

Some info 190WHP F23/ 5spd .685 5th/ T3/4 /H2Oinj blue washer fluid after 3k RPM and 3PSI/

290 miles trip
12.81 gallons to the click
22.638 MPG normal mixed driving

Is that figure close to everyone else?

Not too far off.

I average around 26mpg every tank, half city half highway driving. My car also has no cat on it and runs a tad rich as a result.

'98 EX 5 speed with 230k on the clock.

So you are boosted at 3lbs it boost with water injection after 3k rpm?

not bad I guess. I was averaging 26-27mpg mixed city highway, 30-31mpg highway only.

I get 21-22 mpg city in my 1992 Acura legend with a 200hp 3.2L v6 for comparison

My water inj results are a mixed bag. I noticed gains with forced induction be it super or turbo. Not impressed with a NA application. Ya, after 3psi it sprays. That way the pump doesnt run as much with part throttle boost.

MPGs, on the 24th I shortened the Cold idle time to almost nothing in Hondata. Should return some MPG as the fuel isnt being wasted running the idle 1500 rpms for those extra minutes. Will check next week at the fill.

That is with no cold idle. If I start it cold she goes to like 800 RPM even in 30 degrees. I do not think I gained any mileage. Waste of time.

I would be thinking something is wrong if I’m only getting 23.58mpg in a f23 5 speed unless I’m heavy footed. Even on my weeks I was gettin it hard I was averaging 27mpg.

now unless you are custom tuned for more power and fuel delivery I can see that
