You can get a box that removes the speed limiter but who needs to go 130+ unless you runnin straight 1/4 miles on the track ya kno? I hit 130 in my grandmas 325i, and it STILL had a lot of juice left, i love bmws.

I have been 141-142 but I let up before the car did on US1 Sanford, NC two different times with two different people in my car. I got to 5th gear and had plenty of rpms left. I love my 5-speed tranny.

135mph on eastbound i78 in NJ then another time, 130mph on westbound i78 at like 2 am in nj. id say anything past 125 is pretty sketchy in these cars, my car was doin alright, like it wasnt shaking too badly, but i wouldnt wanna do it again, haha.
