Have you considered using a slightly thicker oil and going synthetic? Lasts longer.

I would still call that premature, as would my father. But it obviously isn't bad for the motor, so if you aren't paying labor why not do it yourself often I guess. Do you change the filter every time? Because that's another thing that can go 6k

Yes indeed and no I don't pay for labor for anything my cusins own a shop and I do everything there or they do it when they can. That oil is perfect for mileage and condition of the car trust me unless synthetic remember the engines life is oil and your feet lololol.

Maybe you should read rules when you join a forum, and if you use any others I'm sure you know its pretty common. Also, which is it? 2,000? 2800? 2,900? 2,500?

I do admit that I presented my statement in a passive aggressive manor and yes you're right you were mistaken about the wheels. I would certainly admit any mistakes I've made, if I had so far made any.

And I intend to come off as a 'smartass' or abrasive because I don't much appreciate liars and you are one. Being unsure yet reassuring people as well as misleading upfront are both forms of lying and the way you react just makes it even more clear to me.

Now do everyone a favor, use this forum as a resource to learn what you currently own. Then you can make an accurate list for your Craigslist post and change the statement from 'I change the oil every 2000 miles' to; 'I didn't really keep track of every time I changed it however, it was or was not close to 3,000 but I wont tell you the truth anyway because I'm a shady mcshadester.
