Yeah I know down sizing the piping to 2.25-2.5 would be in my best interest but I do plan to have the car boosted so, I when I decided on 3" I did that so I don't have to buy another exhaust.

But in all would this set up work is that what you were saying:thinking:

if you plan on boosting then keep the 3'' piping
Get a catalytic converter for now to tone it down, also a 16'' resonator and a different muffler. Then later when your boosted get a test pipe. THEE END! LOL

The Magnaflow is a good choice. But I'd go with 2.25 cat back to resonator and then to muffler.

Just change the muffler to a 3inch inlet/ outlet magnaflow oval muffler and add another resonator and cat. Bam, a lot more quiet.

Changing the diameter of the piping will do little not worth it.

I thought about adding another resonator but there's not a whole lot of room left under there, and second the other accord I own has two big ones on it and to me it sounds like poo.

I've come to a conclusion that ill try two sizes 3/3 ,3/4 with a cat converter I won't have them welded up to test for sound ill just wrap them up to the exposed pipe with heat tape( sounds dumb but it will hold so I can hear what they sound like)
