My accord @ 155mph

140+ on publics roads? is plain stupid and you ARE dumb for doing it. No matter how you try and justify it. Anyone on here who has taken their car that fast on public road is an idiot plain and simple. I'm quilty of it I'll be the first to admit. When I first got my Accord I was stupid and immature about it and drove it like I stole it. But I've grown up the last few years and realize how stupid it is.

Hey wanker did you not read my last post? THE ROAD WAS EMPTY, JUST ME AND HIM! Have you put your car over 100mph on a public road"? ANGEL...you should ban that prick for being insulting towards both of and acting like god without reading first.

When you spend this much money on a car I'm not going to pus.s.y foot it around sorry bro. Never wrecked a car in 11 years and have $1000's of driving instruction on road race courses such as Beaverun, Nelson's, and Watkins glen.

I am safer at driving at 150 than you are at 90mph bro!!!! END OF STORY

LOL!!!! I think everyone on this board has been past 120+ Atleast I sure hope so lol

ive yet gotten my car up past 120... i did 110 for a brief 3-5seconds though with 4 other people in the car lol... with that much weight and trunk full of luggage my car lost its steam comming up to about 100

im pretty sure 110 isnt much different from 120 though... i dont ever have the need or urge to see what my car can top out at...
its more fun redlining 1st and 2nd then redlining 3rd and 4th.. even though i know ill never top 4th gear lol

Shaved Accord is 100 percent right. And to Angel u can count me in for not going over 120 as well. I have gotten up to 115 and felt dumb after that and have not done it sence. Im holding back right now because the accord meet is coming up soon and I dont want any bad blood going on during it but all im saying here is that shaved accord is right and dont think your hard because u can take ur car to 150 because that just makes u dumb and if you didn't have 2 extra motors laying around right now im sure that you wouldnt be feeling so great right now.

I ALSO agree with Shaved in this whole discussion. I will admit that there was a time where I was stupid as ****, doing 120-130 down a ****ing city street. But as I got older and saw so many people get hurt, I decided it was time to slow down. People get killed everyday because of other peoples ignorance on the road. I can honestly say that I have not had my Accord over 105 since I bought it.

Jack, anything could have happened when you were doing what you were doing. I have also blown an engine before, and I know when I did I left a trail of oil behind my car, what if the guy on the bike hit that oil and wrecked? You really should think of the consequences of your actions. I don't care where you trained, like Shaved said, "keep it on the track". You don't see F1 drivers doing 160 down a city street in their daily driver do you?? No, because they are mature enough to know that racing is for the track, not the street, and they know and respect the danger that is involved in driving at high speeds.

I'm not attacking anyone here, people just need to use their heads.

I read the posts. And yes, I do agree he attacked you. His actions, I don't condone 145+ is a stupid move on public roads, no matter what time of night or day. That should be kept on sanctioned roads/events. But, on the same hand you did call him stupid. No to personally call him stupid for doing it, is different from saying that what he did was stupid. I would attack anyone that called me stupid for what I did. That is an attack on my character and not my actions. Yes, I'll admit, I've pushed my car to 120 on an open stretch of highway. I just want to smooth this out. It became a pissing contest when personal attacks where made on the charater of the man (shavedaccord and jackhunt321). Quite a few of us here do think and feel that doing 155 on a public road is stupid. I don't jackhunt321 personally, but what he did was plain flat out "STUPID". As much as it pains me to say it, he got exactly what he deserves for making a stupid decission. One of my idols, Smokey Nagata (President of Top Secret) did 200mph in a Supra on a public road in England. It was video tapped and he did go to jail for a few hours, wound up paying a fine, and now has a twin turbo V8 G35. 200mph was stupid and there was no one else on the road either.
