well, didnt quite get the tranny on tonight, but i got the clutch and flywheel all set up. im buying an engine lift tomorrow so i can do teh swap myseelf without having to have 2 other people liek i did tonight. ima go early and aim to get teh tranny working through the gears by 11 lol. thats my goal. im also going to see if i can get the old axle to fit or if i really do need a new one, since i think i was misinformed about which one i needed. either way, its no biggie, the cars still on standby til the manifold arrives, and it would be sick if as it comes, i just bolt it in, call AAA and it goes to the shop that same day.

thanks. heres more pics since i got eh tranny in and hooked up and able to shift it through the gears!

well it wasnt so easy with the tranny. its really cumbersome and im guessign it must be heavier than a b series tranny cause i knwo between two guys we couldnt muscle it on there (one up top one below)

also the space we worked with was riddled with objects that get in teh way, so youd have to lay with it on your chest to get it strait up without hitting anything. either way, the lift made it so much easier and ill eiteher sell it or keep it for when i do more engine work. its nice to have ya know.

anyways, heres the pics of it going in. i did some minor work tonight after i got home, just replaced some coolant hoses that used to be connected in dumb ways with other ones to neaten the place up. also trying to figure out how to wire up the revers sensor

Holy crap dude, all I can say is, "Wow". At first I just thought this post was gonna be about your sound system, but damn was I surprised when I read through this WHOLE thread. I give you mad props for doing all this work yourself, and I can't wait to see the numbers your car will put down once you're finally done.

This makes me want to take a trip over to GA just to see your car.
