Thats heartful man made me get goose bumps. I work with a lot of dudes in the military or former and they talk about it like it hell. None of my freind have gotten deployed yet.

I personally didn't like the comparison it made between those serving and civilians. I chose the life i chose, they chose the life they chose. I don't, and shouldn't, feel bad for my privilages (that's sort of how i read it). Don't get me wrong, i support the troops, have friends in the military, etc. I can't say any other than our troops live a very commendable life (for the most part) and i have nothing but respect. At the end of the day, it's a job someone chose to take on, much respect.

One thing though. You can support the troops but be anti-war. Now, even the peace sign is viewed as "protest" which is too much for me. I personally don't protest, don't make any statements, etc. But i don't agree with it. None of these things change any oppinion i have on people who serve our country.
