What a day...

it started at work, yep i was at bank of america till about 12:30 when i thought i was gettin out at 10. i wouldnt have really minded about workin late, more hours = more $$$, but i had to be at the shop early to work on a few cars that were backed up. i ended up getting some polffill from walmart before headin home for this ongoing project,

alright, i wake up a tad bit late but could have been later if onee of my customers didn't call me askin me were the shop was located again. so i haed out to the shop but not before almost crashing after not paying attention. now before yall rag on me for that, i saw and was hypnotized by this beautiful Buick GNX that did a litte wheel spin turnin onto my road.

i get to the shop and my customer wasnt there yet. i helped with this ugly f150 put on lambo doors. note to all car enthusiast, BUY QUALITY STUFF. i get really tired of spending a whole day workin on one set of lambo doors. constatly trying to make it fit right when it was never meant for the application. like this one, obviously a universal car kit on heavy truck doors. but this is a guy with tyc tails, apc bulbs, and 22" 5 spoke "flower" style rims.

boss man tweaking it,

my customer came by in a 01 accord 2dr v6. had a brand new set of customlightz projectors, oem with s2k projectors. first off, when i pulled them out of the box they came in, a tyc box, i saw a noticable gap around the projector. i would have thought they would have shrouded it, especially for the price he paid for, 1400.

the guy is a comfort car guy. he had chrome exhaust tips, 10k hids, fogs and a few cheap interior peices. he called customlightz after he placed his order and ask them to blackhouse them and the told him that they couldnt do it for two reasons. one, they already peiced them together and two, it wouldnt look right.

also, if you've never seen a v6 in a 6gen in person, there is no room to work in the engine bay. i said that for a reason, in the process of the install, i had to CUT off the top of both the washer fluid resivoir and the air intake tube. i tried to relocate and make it stil user friendly, but it came to no avail. I will say that the wiring harness for the projector was top notch. very cleanly done and plug and play.

the finished product was done well with what i had to do to get it done. the customer was happy and worked on the first turn of the lever.

i got a call around 6 that night from the guy saying after washing the car, both lense's started to fog up and one stop working. i havent been able to get to him today, but ill get to it on tuesday.

i went to get some food and when i returned i saw this beauty.

a 1961 porshe 356 "tub." the owner of this is also the owner of Aerotrends. nice little refurbished car to see on the road.

took a few pics of the shops drift car. we sponsor the leader of DriftStar Syndicate, a guy by the name of Fat Drift. he hooked the shop and now were into drift and got this s13 for pretty cheap

i finished up the lambo door on the passenger side and was about to call it quits when the big boss told me to jump into his lincoln mark 7 and told pump the brakes so he could bleed them. except the problem was i was 15ft in the air on the lift in the car. really exciting.

i bs'd for a llittle bit, installed some mag wheels on a car and left for my sat nite car meet spot. a local sonics that had abt 150-175 cars at one time. me and my friend with a cb7 headed up there and do what we normally do, hang and bs with friends. saw some cool cars including an suv on 3 wheels, an off road racing truck w/ open headers, 1400hp ford gt, mini trucks and all sorts of ricers.

we were there for an hour and half and then one of those ricers challened a former car club i was apart of and i tagged along for the highway race i was the last to race him(lude w/ IE f22a) and won from a 40 roll.

then my least favorite light came on as i was driving back, CEL. i knew what it was and i knew how to fixit, but it doesnt affect car in any way
