BadgerType if you can PM me your customers info I'll talk to Richard and find out what happen this does not sound like what Rich or Bjorn would tell a customer and I don't know about this set and the pricing does not sound right but if you could do that I'm sure it will be taken care of.

ill get all the info from the customer pretaining abt the retro, but jacksonville fl 2001 accord w/ s2k projectors should narrow it down greatly. the customer told me also he bought these things "months" ago, 6 i believe. but just recieved them this past week. now he has a problem saying his ballast got wet on the one that doesnt work, and he wants me to fix it. since customlightz wouldnt answer his email/phone call.

Now, not considering what i heard from the customer, from the way they looked with the gap around the projector, the way it was sealled with black silicone, the rattiling around of peices inside the headlight and the clearence issues with the v6; i was completly shocked on the way these turned out.

yes 10k is way to bright. he gave them to me in payment for the work, since he doesnt have a job now. iono whether i should throw my oem blackhouse one on with those in there or leave my projector headlights in now

Definitely don't put them on your car. You probably get better visibility/light ouput with the bulbs you have in right now (assuming you don't have 10K bulbs). Besides, they'll probably look a little ricey.

Yeah, Its my car and what!

First of all, 1400 for my set is what i wanted to pay due to the look I wanted, secondly customlights took care of everything, from shipping to making a new set, and new bulbs, the ballast went out due to water from the carwash not their equiptment, I told him that I wanted the cleanest factory look possible, and he recommended that i kept it as OEM as possible for that style CustomLights stands behind their word 100%

ps...Customlights offered to pay for everything washer fluid bottle and air intake this thread was unnesscary for a problem one out of a billion..

Prices went up at Customlightz since I got my pair done... But, I didn't even pay that much for all the **** that I got done on mine. That guy was deffinently lying. I'd say less then a grand for his setup. But the 2ks are shrouded so dont say that they're not. it looks like CL cut off too much of the stock housing off to match the a4 shroud. So I dont know, those are ****ty *** ballasts, i'd say off of a HID "kit" but who knows.

Oh well, I'd say that their work is great at a reasonable price. But too bad they raised their prices.. oh well w/e
