need help from all of you that understand wiring and matching amps to subs.

i have a JL Audio 250/1 mono amp (i planned on using that with a 12" but I dont have the sub)

My friend did not want his subs and amp and gave me his two JL Audio 10w0-8 and an interfire IB-2600C amp.

I think its currently wired the interfire amp at 4ohms RMS power. :dunce:

my question and with other members suggestions are, is it even possible to use my JL 250/1 mono amp to power the 2 JL 10s? and if it is possible which amp (interfire or JL ) is ideal in powering the @ subs for best performance?

thanks!!!

be like it is
the JL is definitely the better amp (never even heard of interfire :lawl:).

it'll be fine, just make sure the subs are wired down to 4 ohms.

Yea that amp will be perfect for the w0s. I think they only can handle 125-150 rms a piece anyways. And the good thing about JL amps are that they make the same power from 2-4 ohms.
