Your gas mileage might have dropped because your car was running on bad O2 sensors for awhile. I would just reset your ECU and let it idle for awhile to relearn all the proper settings. Then I would just drive for about 50-100 miles and after that I think everything should go back to normal. The ECU's on our cars aren't as smart as the new ones out on the market unfortunately.
