-Disconnect the battery to reset the codes in the ECU.
-Check oil level and make sure its at the top mark, low oil pressure will cause a VTEC malfunction.
-If those don't clear the code, try cleaning the screen on the VTEC solenoid.
-If THAT doesn't work, check the oil pressure sending unit near the oil filter.
-If THAT doesn't work, verify the VTEC solenoid doesn't work and replace it.

Did the problem start before or after you changed your oil?

And by what kind of oil, I meant what weight.


it started before... that's why I changed my oil because it was low and was about time I changed it.. I was gonna go on my third month/3000 miles soon so I just decided to change it.


and I used 10w-40
