New G23 Thread

^^true.... visa issue is kinda solved, but anyways...

the shop was busy with another swap the past week.... seems like they need wanna go with the GSR belt, but they want the GSR lower timing gear..... looks like this week is gonna be the week where i will look for these part:

1. H23 thermostat housing and thermostat
2. GSR lower timing gear
3. possibly upgraded injectors off the H23 or H22


if anyone have these parts, lemme know

What about the H23 water pump?

^^i would prob get tht new at Honda..... but is it a must for the H23 water pump? it shouldn't be any different

Oh I'm not sure..PirateMcFred did not say it's needed.

Make sure you get a new F23 headgasket tho, sir. And I see you've added the H23 thermostat housing to the list

gonna take off work early today to get some parts.... drop it off and hopefully they can get it done tomorrow.... worst case scenario, it'll be next week.... damn, i feel like dreman and his h22 swap now btw, safc2 on its way

Heard of all engine blocks but what's a G ? Is it a F series with H series head, im, and cams en such?

Its a lot more than that. All I can tell you is look for G23 on this site and youll get all your answers. Im 1 of the aspiring G23 swap guys. Im 1 out 5
