I've lurked the forums a bit here and there looking up info or seeing what other people have done with their accords, decided to finally register an account.

I have a dark green 98 accord LX sedan, automatic transmission, and pretty much stock. My family is really into BMWs, so I'm not sure how my dad ended up with the honda, but it has been passed down to me. My brother and dad give me **** for it, but I have them beat on reliability. I got it over the summer and so far this is all I've done or needed to do.
  • Maintenance (replace fluids/oil/filters/belts/a few lights)
  • Replaced rear deck speakers with Alpine 6x9s (awaiting funds to replace door speakers)
  • Changed the head unit to get ipod compatibility
  • Some amateur detailing of the paint
  • cleaned up the inside, interior is in pretty good condition
  • "refurbished" the plastic wheel covers (sanded, primed, repainted)

I need to give my car a bath tomorrow because snow/salt have gotten it pretty nasty. Doesn't help that I got bored and did e-brake slides around my neighborhood on the snow. Afterwards I'll be sure to get some pictures up.

I'm sure I'll be updating as I make progress on the car, I don't exactly want my car to look exactly like the one an old lady is driving around. Being a broke college student is holding me back though.

Welcome to the site.

Good luck with your new addition.
As you know by now it's a great place to figure anything out with your accord.

Look forward to seeing the new ride
