well ive heard after a few years, or something like that, the "gasses" or w/e is in the plasma screens leaks out or goes bad and you have to get it like recharged or something along those lines. i mean yea the plasma's do look better, but as for lifespan, based on what ive heard, id go with LCD.

damn, just search "IDC White Paper report".

Synopsis. Gases don't leak. It never needs "recharging". They last just as long as LCD, sometimes longer. They're more consistent in brightness, viewing angle, and color accuracy. If you havent burned an image into a tube tv, you wont do it to a plasma.

All that equals Plasma > LCD :redface2:
