I built a triple 12 box for a friend. 7.5 cu ft. He loaded it with two Hiphonics Brutus and one audiopipe. He gave me his old 6x9 audiobahn so I used the left over wood and made myself a custom box.

He already had the 2 hiphonics in a box. He saw the audiopipe with the huge surround and just had to have it. Here is a video he made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SK2Ff6Q3Ntg

Yes I can hear the 6x9's for sure. They really need an amp though. Thats coming very soon. I also fiberglassed the box inside and out. Nice tight bass, just not that loud at the moment. Still very happy with it so far. May upgrade to some tang band 6x9 subs eventually.

I removed the rear speakers a long time ago to allow more bass to enter the cab from my 15" rockford. I also have clarion 3.5 in the rear doors.

hmm so he should just get 2 more audio pipes im pretty sure they are better than the hifonics.....nice job on the rear doors...i've been thinkin of doin the same but its hard to find a speaker thats depth would fit there....i know audiopipe has the 6.5 in the slim design im gonna see if they fit...thoughtful idea of removing the rear deck for more air....my 15 alphasonik used to shake da whole dam car...lol and probably wasnt good for the speakers on my rear deck....since my whole deck panel was rattling....mayb u should try angling the 6x9s to point upwards towards you :)

Don't underestimate those Hiphonics. I heard his system before adding the audiopipe and I was VERY impressed!! As for angling the 6x9's, its a good idea but it would cut down on the rear passenger foot room. It is just enough room as it is.
