New trunk look

I've seen some peoples trunks that dont have the break lights only the left and right turn lights. Did they get the custom made or can you buy that somewhere.

2 options:

-have your OEM trunk "shaved" by a bodyshop
-buy a carbon fiber shaved trunk

As of right now I don't have any, but when the bodywork is completed I'll have Honda s2000 clear sidemarkers on the sides of my license plate wired as reverse lights...similar to these accords:

for any w/ a shaved trunk, how much did you guys spend? i know its gonna be different based on when and where, but jus wanna get an idea. definitely sick @$$ mod for coupes..

Anywhere from $400 to $1000...depending on location & relationship with bodyshop. Carbon Creations carbon fiber shaved trunks are about $600-650 shipped, so if you can't find a good quote on the bodywork you could always just buy the cf trunk (leave it as is or have it painted to match your car).

The first two pics are of a local guy's car up here. Got rid of those plates though. It is a nice mod and definately looks good with or without the CF trunk.
