damn, thats a badass setup! i want to get a carputer done soon. if i make another 1000 dollars by winter break, ill build a computer and get a touch screen and do that exact same thing.

our cars are pretty easy to do a carputer. Theres a lot of people on that site with accords and they all use the third din attachment for the headunit. good luck if you do it I wanna see a lot of build pics :) .

actually, my friend, he bondo the screen into his double din. it's COOL! touch screen, navigation, video/music, etc. here's a pic of his setup.

you can find iGuidance on the torrent. so basically that is free of cost. but you have to buy a receiver which the cheapest i saw was around 70 bucks. that's it! if you get a touchscreen, i recommend getting frodoplayer for the software. it's pretty cool. i've been setting up programs for my carputer but haven't bought the screen yet. :D

edit_usually total cost is about.. 500+ without a touchscreen. this also include GPS, bondo material, and computer parts.

that is a very nice install on the TL. obviously molding a screen into the dash isn't anything new but I like how he relocated his stock stuff farther down and kept it looking very stock.
