what would i need to do to run nitrous safely in my car. approx 30-50 shot. thinking about it. but debating if its going to do damage to my engine. oh i got an auto 2002 4 door vp (non-vtec).

1-2 step colder spark plugs
an rpm activated window switch
an intake

You NEED these three things to run a 55 shot (what I would recommend running). There is plenty more to get the most out of a nitrous system though.

35-60 shot = change to 1 step colder plugs
65-85 shot = 2 step colder and some timing

okay thanks...now i can get an idea of how much i need to spend. does anyone know how much it cost to fill up a standard bottle? and how long itll last, like how much runs can i do?

at 50 shot, it will last 1 1/2 minutes of consistent use. i go through abt 1 bottle every 2 months

itll cost abt 30 buxs ish

Bottle fills are different everywhere in the country. Some places it's $20. Some it's $60. It all depends. Running a 55 shot, I was usually able to make about 10-12 1/4 mile passes, which equates to about 2.5 minutes. The FAQ on Zex.com says this...
"Q: How long does a bottle last?
A: It depends on bottle capacity and the size of the nitrous shot being used. On the 75hp setting, a 10 lb. bottle will last around 10 quarter mile runs. On the 125hp setting the bottle will last around 6 runs."
