I'm actually in Seminole, but I work in St. Pete and it's close enough. But...the skyway is about 40-50 mins. away.
No way am I going to some racing meet!
About the suspension-If it is possible to be done by myself, I should have no problem. I just thought you needed a spring compressor and all that stuff... I am pretty good with tools and should be able to figure it out. No rust at all on my springs or anything. Hardest part is figuring out which brands to use....... I don't want anything really low, just get rid of some of the gap.
I want it at a safe height to not drive around looking out for every bump or hole!

Ok guys-I cleaned up my engine bay a little and got rid of the ugly blue paint. I had a little bit of black let over and did my header heat shield while I was at it...I'm going to paint the valve cover black but I don't know what color to do the letters?
Anyways, I put my wheels back on and updated the first page with pics.

def a bad idea taking a pic of your car right after you've jacked them up... unless that's how your stance is lol.. well if you ever need any help, let me know.

Well...I tinted my tails today. It turned out pretty good, but I think they might be a little too dark. I masked off the turn signal and reverse spot and tinted the rest of the light. It ended up being about 4 coats, but they were very light coats.
Here are some pictures, and I will update the first page in a little.

not a bad job on the tinting, but usually people dont do them like that with the OEM sedan ones, due to the fairy pink at the tops, haha. but good job none the less

Yeah, I figured I am getting the red/clears soon, so why not? I might actually just tint over the tops too, but I think it would stand out too much.
I bet I will be pulled over within a week. Unless I am in direct sunlight, they look really dark. When I have my lights on, the red in the back is kind of hard to see in daylight.

wuts ur budget? u want springs or coilovers? if u got money to spare, get some coilovers so u wont regret it later saying man i wanna go lower now. if u want springs wut u looking for as in ride comfort? smooth? oem? little bumpy? stiff? for smooth and oem u can pick up some tein s techs or h n r race springs. Little bumpy and little stiff u can go for neuspeed race springs. the springs i mentioned above will give u at least 1.5-2.5 in drop?

My budget is whatever I feel like putting into this car...which happens to be not much. I probably won't get plain springs because there is no adjustability. If I could find good coilovers for around 1k, I might go ahead and get them...but I want control over height.
As for ride comfort, I could really care less. I wouldn't mind a bumpy, stiff ride if the car looked better.
Maybe I should get some coilover sleeves? I need to do a lot more research...

Well, I have finally found something that drives me crazy...The valve cover gasket!!! It was pretty much at one with the cover, I had to scrape over half of it out. I don't think it had ever been replaced and it came off in tiny pieces. After that was over with, I realized that the gasket that I got didn't come with a PCV valve grommet...and I broke the old one that was cracking anyways...So, I had to order one from the parts shop and wait to get it. It should be in this afternoon.
I took some pictures of the valve cover on and off the car, but when I put it on I just laid it on top, it's not bolted or anything. It just shows what it will look like.
