7/9 will be my last competition event for the Accord. I'm tired of racing my only form of transportation for work. Believe me, it's annoying after awhile. I ended up buying my old high school friends 92 Civic Si. It's a one owner car, no accidents, OEM everything, with 140K miles on the odo. It's a great track car for around 2K. After 7/9 everything is coming off the Accord and will be sold. I will be posting items for sale on this board shortly.

Accord will be stock strictly for the work commute. The Civic, that all depends on which class I plan to compete in. Each class has limitations on what you can mod, same with NASA if I plan to race on the open circuits. Right now I'm looking at three classes in Solo. H-stock (but I will get killed by the Mini Coopers), STS (I might have a chance here but the 89 Civic Si in this class are pretty quick and weigh about 300lbs less), DSP (A good chance to compete here although the AE86s rule this class here in Southern California. Also a great chance to use R-Compounds rather than street tires).

NASA on the other hand pretty much allows motor swaps, gutted interior, etc but that takes money and guts to trade paint with the car next to you during races.

I think for now I plan to build the car for DSP in Solo and see how I do. If I get bored with Solo, it's time for NASA. You get more track time for your dollar for open circuit tracks versus Solo tracks.

Nice clean EG. Can't wait to see the mods you do. Good luck with autocrossing it.
