no tail lights?

So while driving I notice my instrument cluster went dark. The headlights are on, but no interior lights and also no tail lights. They do light up when I hit the brakes tho. I checked the fuses on passenger inside, one was out. I replaced it, but as soon as I turned the headlights on again that fuse blew. Any ideas on where I might have a short?

could be anywhere, that happened to me and it was my front parking light. I put aftermarket headlights in and decided I didnt want the parking light so i didnt put a bulb in it. It moved around i guess when i hit a bump and the socket was floating around and ended up getting stuck on a bolt by the headlight where it was shorting out the exact same thing. so look around eventually youll find it.

ah, figured it out. Pulled my aftermarket stereo out; the dimmer control wire (which ive never connected because it never matches up and works) was rubbing up against the stereo metal frame thing. Taped it up, replaced the fuse, and voiila, all good.
