Welcome...check the "security" light that is on your driver's side door panel where the door lock thingy is...make sure it lights up....if that is disconnected it causes the car to lock but the alarm won't arm...hope that helps....

well, it doesn't light up. The car does lock but doesn't "arm" i have taken my door panel out to check out that little light thingie i unplugged it and plugged it back in.... -idk man is there any other place i can check? a main receiver for the signal from the remote or what not?
