NorCal Shop for V6 6 speed swap?

I have the 2001 V6 sedan and the transmission is on its last legs. We were going to just get it rebuilt, but I figure a 5 or 6 speed swap should cost about the same hopefully. Is there any shop in Northern Cali that has performed this swap? I called Blacktrax in Milpitas and they have never done it and they do custom work.

He's talking about finding a shop not a diy.

Op: check the bay area. Like SF or San jose, they usually specialize in a lot of swaps.

Yea I'm in San Jose so I'll keep asking. Auto Innovations said they couldn't do it either. And yea I don't have the time to do in garage as I'm always working. If the project gets beyond the $4000 mark then I'd rather buy another car.

Buy a TL type S or CL type S or 7th Gen/8th gen accord. I would If I had the $.

If there was a reasonably priced (under 10k ) 6MT CL-S within 100 miles of me I'd sell my accord in a heartbeat and ***** myself for the rest of the cash.

Im surprise they can't do it. Im sure one shop in the bay have atleast finished a 6speed swap on the accord.

Also try asking on v6performance, the norcal section is a bit dead but im sure one of them should know.
