Synergy Auto in San Jose is down to do it. He was actually planning on doing this swap for his personal car and already knows the ins and outs of the project. He is pricing up the project including the transmission, pedals, ecu mods etc. He is going to modify the ECU himself instead of buying the harness. He's shooting for under $3000 so heads up Bay Area folks.
So now that I found a shop that is capable and priced right the BIG question is will it pass smog? Has anyone in CA actually done this mod and pass smog? If I have to deal with BAR and getting certified I will just fix the automatic.
