i have been a fan of these body style accords for a while, had a few pics of some nice cg's saved in my computer. It started when i got my first car a 93 accord, i thought they were nice cars and my then wife (now ex wife thank God) needed a car and i found a 98 lx sedan at a dealer for a good deal, cel was on, i knew nothing about cars, we took it for a test drive, salesman said it just may be a small sensor, trans was slipping, he said it may be connected to the sensor, we paid for the car.
did some research on the car and found out the code was for the egr, replaced it and still was on, learned how to clean the egr port, cel went away for a little but it still jerked, then found out tranny was going out. anyhow after the divorce she sold the car but i always liked that bodystyle, then i finally got my chance to own my EX, (my 93 was an EX and i love sunroofs so i knew i had to get an EX).
here is my car history:
First: 1993 CB7 EX sedan 5 speed, got fooled by the guy that sold it to me, he prolly used smoke stop or thick oil cause after a few days, the thing smoked like a train, got another stock engine, ran good for like 3 years
then engine started that reving up and down at idle, got a good deal on this
and then it went in
sux i did not enjoy the H for that long, 2-3 months later a lady in a CD (94-97) accord ran red and ran into me from the side
then her insurance gave me some money, then i bought the cb7 from the insurance for $100 (for the motor),
then sold the motor and tranny for $1k, me and the new owner pulled it out, it was pretty easy to pull out with tranny lol
then i started looking for another accord, but also had a thing for integras, since everyone was modding them all the time, there was one for 3k and there was also a cg coupe ex manual for sale but i was like 300 short, i called the guy and everything, but i wanted the integra a bit more so i got the integra, and you know it had to have a sunroof
got some LS meshies, i loved these wheels, the tires were super nice too, they came with some bf goodrich radial tires and that's when i learned how much of a difference tires made
then found a vc that i fell in love with, i loved the smooth flat blue, im getting one done for the cg soon
