6k > 8k fosho.

Well black housing does help. Also eyelids help point them down lower, that's why I kept my eyelids on for the sole purpose of not blinding other people (plus it does give a little bit of a cutoff).

Looking at your avatar, looks like you have eyelids already haha.

Dont tint all your reflectors. Just tint the outer most reflectors because that is where the glare is coming from.

can i tilt them down, or whats the best solution?

you should always re-aim your headlights if you put an hid kit in the stock reflector housings.

going with the 8k was a good idea over the 6k which are really white right...?

no. 6k is the best output you can get if you want a little bit of color as well. 6k has a slight tint of blue to it, unlike your 8k which will be more blue than the 6k would be. thats the only reason you might get pulled over for the hids, because of how blue theyre going to look. it also depends on your local PD. personally, i always run 6k, and i have yet to be pulled over for it and ive driven to multiple states at night and have been fine.

Well black housing does help.

wrong. blackhousing has nothing to do with how the light is reflected, only the turn signals. if it did, im sure none of us would do it due to lack of light after its been done.
