All of those are great options. If you can, stick with Alpine. Very nice units

And stick with crutchfield. They tend to be slightly more expensive but include all installation hardware and wiring for free. Very very few places do that.

I want to stick with a single din(?) because i would want to keep that extra slot for misc.
Also, does crutch field sell adapters? I found a good price head unit but does not come with adapters etc.

you're going to have to buy the harness seperately as well as the kit to install in your car unless the deck was previously on another accord and the seller has the items for you. I can help you installing if you need.

i got my harness and kit both from walmart. if you're looking for a deck still, I may sell mine soon (leme get my speakers and test the quality with them first ;) i heard a pioneer deck works better with pioneer speakers not sure though), i'm looking to get pioneer ones to match my speaker brands if you're interested.

and lmk if you're still interested in ordering and doing the HIDs together ;)
also ordering civic fogs if you want to get that done with me as well

I did all my buying and installation through Best Buy. I got an Alpine HU because of the iPod adapter. Most people seem to agree Pioneer makes the best headunits, though. Subs/Amps should be fine with the new HU as long as it's all installed correctly. You just don't want to add those things with OEM HUs or speakers.

how much did walmart cost? The kit from crutchfield will cost me $50 free shipping from ontario so it'll be 1-2 days arrival imo.

Hows pioneer better than alpine?

Im getting the cda-105. i found a seller for around 130$. I think it's worth it.

@BANG
Still down but I can't do it now as i said. But i'm going to get it done this summer for sure. =) I'll be getting oem fogs vs the civics.

i think it was around $20 for the kit and $20 for the harness, wasn't expensive. You're still going to have to buy the harness seperately right?
I haven't taken much pictures but I'll start soon
I want to get pioneer only because I heard it would work better with the pioneer speakers I'm getting or I'd stay with my current HU.

If you're just looking for a HU for the bluetooth or aux options then any HU is about the same, just w.e features you want. If you're getting amp/subs that may be a different story.

& I guess i'll wait a bit later before I get retros as well then :D unless someone can make them for me cheap?

Bottom line is that Crutchfield is the ****. They're based out of Charlottesville too, so I have a retail store like 5 minutes from my apartment and their distribution center is about 10 further. Also, Bill Crutchfield is an awesome old man, so I'm glad to give him my business whenever I can. Their customer service is the best out there by a long shot.
