pentax K-5 and D-FA 100/2.8 macro WR, ISO 80, f/11, 1/8, 6x ND filters. imageshack takes away half my sharpening

You can take this shot with a nifty fifty or 35mm prime

the fstop isn't the important part, you can do similar with a cheaper 50 by just changing the focus distance which shrinks the depth of field. research depth of field calculators, i have a few on my phone. the quality of the glass itself....and how light looks through a particular lens on the other hand.....

hey danny.. u ever thought abt restarting the photography contest?

i have, it's just that the amount of time i have to manage it has vastly shrank. i may try and start it back up on an non-normal schedule as i have time.

Haha I was thinking the same thing while I was there... That guy was intimidating as hell, built like a tank.

so how does one get raided by homeland security in such a nice neighborhood? i see the jeeps are getting put on a flatbed and it must be some serious shit to get the armored vehicles out plus all the guys with full loadouts...
