thanks, i shot this with my 70-200 at 200mm + 2x II teleconverter on tripod using live view. did a bit of sharpening and increased the color to pick up the subtle colors, had to correct some chromatic abberations.

settings:
F7.1
1/160 shutter speed
iso 100

what teleconverter do you have and which ones would you recommend? i already have a 70-210 and wish it would go farther but don't want to replace it

It's the canon 2x II. I've had limited experience so far with it. It seems the longer the focal length, the harder it is to find a place/subject to use it.
