lol i tried and failed lol nothing looked good (underglows...) i did do one under my car and it came out decent w/o being too ridiculous

i would probably put it out behind the car firing towards the camera. but thats just speculation.

oh i should ask...as a fellow sb-24 owner...what are you holding the gels on with? i've been looking for some plastic or something so they can slide in but wont fall out. my flash is already velcro'd on all 4 sides.

i tried the behind the car but really couldnt get enough light coming through (my car) but the bug was like a fishbowl lol

i got the Strobist Pro Rosco Color Correction Gel Pack (http://www.mpex.com/browse.cfm/4,5881.html) which are 5x7 sheets so i kept em 5" long and put velcro on the ends and that how i hold em and i just put em in a sandwich bag when i dont need em

They just came out with a real nice kit already cut but are 1x3 so i might get that and see how it works (http://www.mpex.com/browse.cfm/4,13229.html) when i buy a second lightstand set

damn...i have a few rosco sample packs...those are 3.5" x 1.25"

perfect fit over the lens of the flash, but no where to hang onto it.
