my newest lens obsession: single-coated lenses in aluminum finish, noted for their crazy highlight bokeh.

1969 russian 37mm f/2.8 lens, wide open...drips from the gutter above the garage:

i really hate sharing portrait-oriented pictures in this day of widescreen monitors...your eye is always drawn to the top half of the picture first, and i think it loses a lot of its initial impact...

^That's why I always post up smaller sized images if I post a portrait shot haha. I hate that.

....i still use a 17" full screen monitor

nice for portrait editing...bad for landscape.
