thats because its extremely rare...its the first one ive seen for sale in 9 months of searching daily. ive seen a few brown pouch 43s and green pouch 77s, but never a red pouch 31.
its a higher serial number though
so i may just snag the black pouch (only) on ebay and sell it if a low-serial-red-pouch-less 31 comes up...since then it will be correct. colored pouches only came with lenses with a 0008xxx serial or lower. ive heard it was 0016xxx or lower, but my 0014xxx 77 came with a black (though i suspect the pouch is incorrect since it doesnt have gold lettering and only has "PENTAX" in small letters instead of also listing the aperture/focal length).
