I took my rack off for the winter, cause it was dragging my gas mileage down to like 24-25 in the cold. I have 2 Thule Peloton bike trays for mine and I love them and would highly recommend them.

Damn, your getting 24-25 mpg's? Ever since I owned the car, it's felt like 20-22 mpgs...hahaha. Now it's much worse.

you mean that part that makes a pop sound when pushing the bumper back in on both sides? Its like a slide the fits with a groove on the bumper piece.

no, i'm talking about the little thing located right where the tape is that you use to screw the bumper on, not the white tab

ur rack really cuts down Gasmilage?? i havent really noticed much with mines... mainly because im not in the city right now but im still getting high 20's, like 26-27

only when my boards are on top i slow down a bit but i can still easily get 500+miles on a full tank
