Hey guys. I was driving from socal to norcal and my car started sputtering. I figured it was the coilpack since it had happened before. I hooked up a scanner and it said cylinder one misfire. So I will change out the coil pack tomo.

I limped the car home 400 miles. mileage went from my usual 24 mpg to 15 mpg. felt like I had 60 whp.

Here is my question. Does our accord cut fuel to a cylinder when it misfires or has a blown coil pack? Because I changed the oil only a few months ago with mobil 1/k&n filter and don't want to change it again if I don't have to. But if our car does NOT cut fuel then there is prob a buttload of unburnt fuel inside the motor and I def need to change it.

Thanks for the help gentlemen.

PS do you guys replace your coil packs as singles or as sets of 6? I have changed cylinder 3 a few years ago but none of the other ones. PAIN in the *** if it was on the fornt bank due to the supercharger but i lucked out again:favorites13:
