oil leak problem

i've been changing my own oil recently with no problems until now. i've recently changed my oil and filter. i also decided to use a new drain plug(since i picked up a new one at honda since i needed some new washers) and also put on a new washer as recommended in the service manuals. now my problem is that i got oil leaking by the drain plug. what could possibly causing this leak? it's not a steady leak, it's more like oil is slowly leaking out and just collecting at the drain plug then drips every now and then. i haven't had this problem before. does anyone have a clue what's causing this?

Did you pinch the washer by over tightening?

hmm, possibly that's the problem. i don't see how the washers that the dealer supplies can be pinched out of shape. guess i'll stop by the dealer and pick up a few and redo the process.
