Hey all,

So my car wasn't starting this morning and I checked the oil-- which I changed 2 weeks ago...

It was a quart and a half too low. So I added the oil and with luck + pumping the gas I got it to start.

The reason it was giving my trouble after I had already put oil in it is because it has a VERY rough idle. It violently shakes anytime I am at a red light, and if im uphill with the air condition on at a red light, it will flat out stall on me.

I know there are probably a BILLION problems this could be, but I just want you input.

I did do an electronic diagnosis, got codes P0706, P0705, and P1491.

I'm thinking maybe some engine seals might be worn for the leak, and as far as the idle do you thing changing the spark plugs and doing a seafoam would help?

I found a mechanic who is going to give me a diagnosis for $35.

I will tell you the issue after I get word back from him.

If he tries to charge me a ridiculous amount for the repair, I think I might just try a seafoam. As far as the oil leak.. I guess ill have to pay him.

So mechanic said it needed a tune up for $220 for the rough idle. He said the leak is coming from the camshaft and would cost $700 to fix the seal.
