Oil Pressure sensor question?

went to advance the other day and asked for a oil pressure sensor for my 00 accord 4cyl and they told me "which one?" i thought they was only one above the oil filter but that is the oil switch sensor and not the other one which they told me was called the valve timing oil sensor so my question is.. are they right about this other sensor? or is it just crazy talk. out of curiosity where is this other sensor located at? thanks in advance

Yes. Switches not sensors, and one does dash 'dummy' lite (by filter) the other is for vtec.

ok got you, so if my oil light switch is blinking and acting erratically even though there is still plenty of oil in the engine it will be the oil light switch above the oil filter causing it and i should not worry about the other switch?

Correct. The one for the VTEC does not affect the light on the dash.
