Yeah, I'm quoting myself.
Find a good shop.... tell them that you want used parts.... coupe bumper, fenders, etc.... they'll get them for you if you don't want/ have time to get them yourself.... the $$ you save could be enough for that CF hood. Ask around to find which shop you should go too. Older hotrod guys are usually a good source for info on the best body shops around.... good luck man.

[Okay so i just talked to my parents -.- they said NO forget the check the only thing i should be worrying about is getting my car fixed and painted so im thinking when i go to the bodyshop i can tell them i want 2002 coupe bumper, hood ? and they'll do it?

This is wat i did the last time this happened to me
I got 3 quotes from respectable shops, and send the most expensive quote to the insurance, once i get the check i bring my car to the least expensive shop to fix it, and keep the remainder of the check.

yep! that's how i would do it. but persuade your parents about how much cheaper it would be if you get the check and bring it to the shop to repair it. you might have some extra cash. personally, i would give the extra cash to the parents just so they wouldn't start bitching. my very first accident (me as a driver) was when i was at my high school parking lot. parents bitched at me even though it wasn't my fault! LOL! but that's how asian parents are.

Unless they don't know how... most body shops will do pretty much whatever you want. When you ask for the 02 hood, etc., make sure you tell them you want used parts. Unless it has to be welded on or cut from another car, I'd go with used parts. They might charge you a little more for the labor though because they aren't OEM replacement parts meant for your car...... they'll give you the old "that's not meant for your car, so it'll take more time to put on".... not much you can do about that one though.

Well on the police report and the cop said "$2,000" in damage . . but w.e that doesnt matter it was the insurance saids.. but the 2002 front bumper bolts right on to mine.

**UPDATE** I finally took the car to the shop today. (8/31/06) now lets see how long will it take for my car to be out. I asked for the fallowing. ( 01-02 Bumper / 01-02 Hood / Fenders all Coupe L8r on ill get a mugen lip.

hard to say seems to be alot of problems with ebay kits lately and honda wants like $250
