Ok, so my power is out

Yeah I hear you we had one installed a few years back since we get a lot of outages here doing the winter and summer. Automatic kick on after 5 minutes of no power for the win. Only hassle is to fill the gas tank every 8-10 hours or so, but it runs the whole house except the water heater, stove, wash & dryer.

56K ftw? I've used the same during a power outage. It's pretty cool to be surfing the 'net while everybody else is stumbling around in the dark. Too bad my laptop battery only lasts half an hour .
