Check out what the UPS guy dropped off on my front porch today!

These coilovers look pretty damn nice IMO well as far as coilovers go. Inital impressions are they look and fell "beefy" the shafts thickness are huge.

I was also surprised about how smaall the springs are compared to my lowering springs which look like truck springs. These coilovers look well engineered

in everyway. Cant wait to put em on. Ill post up install pics and a write up for the ride and handling. cant wait. Sick of riding around on blown shocks

Sweet, I'm thinking about those or Tein SS next. I've seen them on 5th gens, cant wait for a review on a 6th gen.

yeah ill be the guniea pig on this one. Ill take one for the team!! The reason why I didnt go wtih tein ss is obviously the price,,, aruond a g is a little steep for me

got these for $530 shipped from a guy on ebay who bought them but never installed them. Also Im not familiar with all the dampening and rebound

adjusuting stuff. So ill just stuck with what the manufacturers set them at. Ill post a review soon but then again ive been boucing around on blown shocks so

my opinion might be skewed.

ha ha i hear. i don't want to spend the money on the tein, but my accord gets nothing but the best. i understand where you are coming from and let me know how they work out for you.

i agree with you man. trust me i know. i get married next may and my process will slow down then. i'm happy about the marriage part, but sad about having to slow down my process.

Coilovers are finally installed. Install least to say was a pain in the a*s. But thats mostly the fault of the installer ....me. After installation and having

the ride height adjusted and everything I can say I was pleasantly surprised. Dont get me wrong the ride is "bouncy." But take into

perspecitve the spring rates (around 400lbs in front and 450 in back) with these high spring rates the ride is not that harsh. When I say bouncy

I dont mean ricer bounce, its more of a controlled bounce, once you hit a bump the car takes it one bump and the springs recover quickly and your

back cruising. You defiantely feel the road by that I mean you can feel all the little imperfections on the road. Dont get me wrong they are nowhere

as smooth as stock the ride is bumpy but not back breaking. Handling wise its night and day. Steering is much more respoinsive and less sluggush.

The best way I can put it is the car seems quicker on its feet. Understeer although still evident is reduced dramtatically, the car just seems to go

where my eyes point it to go. I now know what people mean when they say having confidence when turning. Also Uturn radius is decreased big

time. The only downside that I can find is adjustablity. Maybe it was just my inexperience but adjusting ride height evenly is tedious as hell and

inexact. If you want to adjust the rears, if you dont want to take the whole coilover out, you have to undo the bolts at the top, take off the tire,

loosen the lower collar lock, have someone step on the hub to make space for the shock to rotate without the bolts on top rubbing against the

frame. Knowing how much to adjust if left to tape measure. The fronts you have to take the shock out of the fork thingy and rotate. Adjusting ride

height took about as long as putting the coilovers in.

To put it in a nutshell, if you want handling performance these coilovers are for you, if you want just the ride height adjustablitiy and the smoothness

of stock so you can drive grandma to church on sundays or taking junior to preeschool these are not for you.
