I had been planning it for a while and I finally went out and bought some paint!

Definitely a big improvement. Good job.

But just tape off the letters and go to town with the black paint.

Nice job with it, you didn't consider being a bit more creative with it, ie wrinkle paint or multi-colour or a design of some sort?

Certainly a big improvement, is that a flat red or semi-gloss?

I agree painting the H or the VTEC would add something.

It's semigloss.

I'm stuck between brushing black over the letters or filing it off for a nice machined looking pop to it. I'd have done this/thought about it before I put it back on but I had to be somewhere shortly after I finished painting.

That raised lettering is going to be hard to get off with just a file, especially if you want it to look good

i say sand the letters

yeah sand them down, you go from like 400 to 800 then like 1500, then polish
