^If you go back a few pages, someone posted a photo of the caliper in gold, and the bracket in black. Makes the caliper look a little smaller imo.

sorry for bumping the thread :skurred: but ! is there a diy for painting your calipers here? i cant seem to find it in the diy master list. :hide:

^just grab a wire brush and scrub the caliper,clean with brake cleaner, then mask off around the rotor and car, & hit it with 3 coats of high temp paint - apply coats 10 minutes apart. I used engine block enamel. Painted them a year ago and they still look great.

Stick to high-temp paint. Other than that, pretty straight forward.

Just don't paint your whole rotor, please. :lawl:

And avoid painting the other things like the rubber boots for the slide pins, etc.
