no, thatd be a bad tint shop, as tinting over the 3rd brake light IS illegal. yea, ive seen it done, yea, they did it on my lincoln, but it is illegal to tint over the 3rd brake light.

a good shop wouldnt do it even if you requested it.

the shop i went to asked me if i wanted to tint over the the third brake light. And when i said yes the guy couldnt be happier! its easier for them cuz they dont have to cut around the light and looks SOOOO much better the tint does not stop the light from going through at all! and i have limo tint!

nice write up dude I was actually thinking about doing this myself last fall.. when I had my windows tinted I didn't have a choice when it came to cutting around the third brake light. PA's law requires it to be cut around =/
