That stuff does a great job but be extremely careful using it, it is highly volatile.

Aircraft stripper is good. I personally like the spray can version a bit better. As said, be careful, this stuff burns really bad if you even get a tiny bit on your skin. Use rubber gloves and wear long sleeves.

Using the aircraft stripper to remove the matte black paint to get it as close to factory color what would i need to use? Never really painted anything b4

It will remove the paint, down to the bare aluminum (hopefully). TL wheels are painted from the factory. Even OEM wheels that are bare aluminum or machined are usually cleared, not raw aluminum (except for polished wheels). Raw, cast aluminum is not going to look very good, IMO, and will oxidize/dull over time. They may get marks from corrosion and will likely stain easily. I would repaint them a silver color you like.

That's why you may not even want to strip them, as suggested earlier. If the black paint is in good shape, just scuff and paint. There is nothing wrong with stripping them, except if the stripper has problems with the OEM finish, then you may have to sand or use a wire brush on a drill. It's just an extra step that isn't needed if the paint is already in good shape.
